In the beautiful Valle de Río Negro, our pear harvest begins in January with varieties like Williams and Red Bartlett. Then, in February, we have Abate, Packham's, Anjou, and Red Anjou. And let's not forget about Forelle, which wraps up the season with a smaller volume in early March

Did you know that thanks to our work in controlled atmosphere storage, some of our pears are available year-round? Especially varieties like Packham's and Anjou, which are available almost all twelve months.

There are many factors that can influence the development of the season, such as the number of chill hours, flowering conditions, excessive heat in the summer that slows down growth, among others. Even more direct climatic factors like frost, hail, and strong winds can impact the fruit. However, our Argentine producers strive every day to provide the best quality. That's why our pears are highly valued worldwide for their exceptional flavor and texture!

Although the pear business can be unpredictable due to macroeconomic variables and changing local regulations, our producers are committed to technology and innovation at every step of the process. From anti-hail nets to protect primary production, to packaging technology and refrigeration to reduce labor costs.
